Data we collect

When you submit the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, optional consultation preference, region notes, and message content. During an engagement we may process CV content, career history, and logistical constraints you share. Technical logs may include IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to respond to enquiries, deliver consultations, issue invoices, improve site reliability, and meet legal obligations. Bases include contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests in operating a professional practice (Art. 6(1)(f)), consent where required for non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)), and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Retention

Enquiry messages without an engagement are typically retained up to 24 months. Client files for completed consultations are retained for up to six years where commercial or tax record-keeping requires it, then deleted or anonymised. Cookie identifiers follow the durations listed on our cookies page.

Processors and transfers

We may use hosting and email providers acting as processors under contract. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures as appropriate.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in DE, such as the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Children

Our services are aimed at adults seeking employment. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
